wow, its been 2 weeks since my last update!! i suck!!
all is great in our end!! chesneys getting big and has a spunky personality... just like her momma!!! she goes to the dr next monday for her 2 month check up!!

6 week old
My baby girl is 6 weeks!!!! All is going great!! She sleeps around 5 hours at night and gets up at 230a for a feeding and then for the day around 5 or 530a. So we take a few naps during the day!!!
Shes such a sweet baby!! We're so lucky to have her. Shes starting to get more and more alert and smiles ALL the time. Shes just... AWESOME!!!

SHES A MONTH OLD!!
Oh wow, Chesney is a month old already!! Holy smokes!!! I have been meaning to update this blog more often, but I have a hard time putting Chesney down to get some computer time!! So today, Im sitting in the recliner as Chesney sleeps on my chest and doing my update. Hopefully the battery lasts long enough!!
Today Chesney got to leave the house and go see her doctor. We see Dr. Bala at Navarret Peds, which is the same doctor that Callie saw. Little hard to walk in there but the staff is wonderful. We like it there.
Chesney weighs 9lb 11 3/ 4oz and is 21 3/4inches long!! Shes up almost 2 pounds from birth and almost 3 inches. Shes getting so big. I can't believe it. I want her to stay little forever!!!
Craig is back to work now and so Im home with her all day. I love it. I could so get use to this life!! I have a hard time sometimes since I get up during the night and do all the middle of the night feedings. Since Craig gets up at 5am for work and doesn't get home til 7pm, Im the nice wife and let him sleep through the night. Its tough, but hey, it has to be done. Craig helps when he gets home and then on the weekends he'll get his 3am feeding duty back =)
CBS Evening News (the one anchored by Katie Couric) called me yesterday and wanted to interview me regarding the news that Andrew Wakefield's study regarding vaccines and Autism was fraud. So two guys from Chicago came to South Bend to do the interview and then it aired on CBS Evening News last night!! It was short and sweet, but hopefully someone listened and it'll help save a life!
